New Clients

Thank you for your interest in A Dog’s Hideaway! We would love to meet you and your pup(s)! Before you get started, please read some of our requirements below to see if our facility is a good fit.

 

  1. We unfortunately do not take the following breeds due to insurance reasons: Pitbulls, Bull Terriers, Bull Dogs, Cane Corsos, Dogo Argentinos, and Akitas. Our sincerest apologies, but there are no exceptions. 

  2. We have a 6 month cut off for unneutered and unspayed dogs. Once your pup hits 6 months, they will not be allowed back onto the property until they are spayed/neutered. 

  3. There is no segregation based on size, breed, or preference. Because we are a 5 acre free roam property, your dog must get along with all breeds, sizes, and personalities. This environment is not a good fit for all dogs. Depending on your dog’s temperament, you may be required to seek training before they are able to be allowed on the property. This is to ensure the safety of all our pups, as well as the employees.

  4. All dogs must go through our first mandatory service: A Meet and Greet! This free service allows the staff to check their temperament before they are released on the property. If approved, the next step is a 20-40 minute tour of the property! You will also have an opportunity to ask your tour guide any questions you may have. 

  5. Every customer will sign an agreement before boarding or daycare. Please ensure you fill out the section asking for a specific cost in the case of an emergency. Read the form carefully!

Required Profile Information:

About You

  • Your first and last name

  • Email

  • Phone number (if possible, please ensure it is a textable number as well as a callable number.)

  • Address

About Your Pup

  • Your pups name

  • Breed

  • Color

  • Sex (please specify whether or not they are spayed/neutered. We do look for proof of this.)

  • Date of birth

  • Allergies (any known/possible)

  • Flea medication (name brand, Ex: “Bravecto”)

  • Allowed supplements (Select yes or no)

  • Vet information. (Clinic name, clinic phone number, clinic address)

  • REQUIRED VACCINES: Please email proof of Bordetella, Rabies, DHPP, Influenza, and a clean fecal test to admin@adogshideaway.com

  • A picture of your pet

  • Tell us about any tendencies your pet has that we need to know. (Ex: collar reactive, space reactive, food aggressive, prone to seizures, etc.)

 

Schedule a Meet and Greet

Now that your profile is set up, you can put in a request for a Meet and Greet! Please note this is a request, not an appointment. The staff will check and make sure your profile is complete before emailing you back to finish setting up your Meet and Greet date and time. Due to staffing, drop off and pick up times, and energy levels from dogs on the property, we recommend sticking between 9am and 2pm for your Meet and Greet requests. We do Meet and Greets seven days a week, so pick whatever day works best for you and we will do our best to accommodate!
