A DOG'S HIDE-A-WAY

A Dog's Hideaway exists because of the struggles we had caring for our own dog while away. Our dog did not do well in traditional kennels. We found a couple he loved staying with, but they unfortunately moved out of the area. From then on we could not find him another "home away from home". Our personal careers were at a turning point at the same time, which led to the dream to build and provide care for dogs like we expected and wanted for ours.

This land used to be a hoarders property. A full year was spent renovating existing buildings into what you see today, along with removal of many structures and their contents. We also thank Tuality Water & Soil Conservation District for their help with creek restoration. The business was eventually opened in 2017.
